Mortal Realm Witch Series Books Delayed
Several years ago we announced that the Fifth book in the Mortal Realm Witch Series, Misadventures of a Teenage Witch, was coming soon. While it IS still scheduled for release along with the rest of the series, we can not say exactly when these books will resume publishing. Jennifer Priester has been unable to find an artist to help with the new cover art for her books. She wants to keep the series look consistant and needs and artist who will do this as well as being affordable. At this time she has only been able to create the new concept art but is not able to get the look exactly right. Until she finds an artist to help her out, we can not publish the next books in the series or any of her planned books in the future. If you are an artist and can help out, contact Jennifer at jennifer@jenniferpriester.com.
The Story Behind Our New Company Logo
You might have already seen our new company logo, but do you know why this image is our logo? Do you know how it relates to A&M Moonlight Creations? If you don't already know, the A&M in our name stands for Animals and Magic. However, magic can extend to more than just fantasy. It can also involve a feeling, a special moment in time, something rare, or any number of things. While we needed magic to be represented, we didn't want our logo design to be limited to fantasy as we aren't a company that specializes in one specific genre of fiction. We plan to publish many genre's of children's - YA books so we needed a magical, yet natural feel. This is why we chose to use a blue moon and a shooting star. While the moon is never quite that blue and shooting stars are actually just meteorite fragments, they do however, exist in some form in nature. Our owner is featured in the logo as her products and passions are what make our company what it is at this time. Her former dog, Taco is both our company mascot and was Jennifer's biggest inspiration when he was alive so he was a natural choice to be the animal represented in our logo. Jennifer's love of animals and magic is also shown on the shirt she is wearing which is based on her own artwork. While not everything she does could be represented in the logo, the backpack is meant to be concealing a small camera, some art supplies, and some writing supplies. The bike is green because green is the color for mental health awareness, which is a subject we would like to focus on more over time.
Updated Book Covers in Progress
We are in the process of updating the covers of all current books in the Mortal Realm Witch series. Tales of Familiars is currently available on Amazon with it's new cover. The rest of the books will be following in the coming months. Each cover will now feature the stars/sparkles on the front as first appeared on the cover of Realms Unite?, the third book in the series. The back covers will now feature plain backgrounds to make the text easier to read, a few illustrations from the book at top, and a reading level.
